Traffic Violation Leads to Drug Arrest
On Thursday, May 9, 2024, a Hot Spring County Deputy observed a traffic violation by a white male on a blue motorcycle. The deputy activated emergency lights and siren and attempted to make a traffic stop. The individual fled West and committed several additional traffic violations, including throwing multiple plastic bags from his person while traveling at speeds greater than 100 mph. The locations of the bags were called in to Dispatch. The operator of the motorcycle, Harold Wayne Sealy, eventually stopped and was taken into custody without further incident. The deputy retrieved the plastic bags which were labeled with names as if they were to be delivered to those individuals. The contents tested positive for methamphetamines.
