Training 2024

Date Posted: 08/26/2024

Training with the Hot Spring County Sheriff's Office in 2024

Training comes in many forms. Whether it is through the academy, online continuing education courses, or in-person training provided by instructors, effective training provides the deputy with a better understanding of the needs of the community, ensures the safety of the deputy and those around them, and allows the deputy to develop new skills and knowledge while reinforcing what has been previously learned.

In 2024, we have had two deputies graduate from the academy and will have another two deputies graduate before the end of the year. Each of these "new" graduates have either served in the military and/or have a background in law enforcement.
